
Jennifer has always wanted to be an all-purpose superstar. When she was a kid, she enjoyed a variety of musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue, bachata and merengue, as well as mainstream music like pop hip-hop, hip-hop, and R&B. The music she loved was also fascinated by the motion picture industry. Her greatest influence was Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer, besides being an entertainer , as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, was a student for eight years at Holy Family Catholic elementary school in The Bronx. After a four-year stay and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. When she was at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, playing track and field and tennis. Jennifer spent the majority of her time living in a 2-story home within the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer was the first to leave her parents' house at 18 , to leave. Lopez began her work at the law office, while also dancing at night.
